Product Care

Due to the nature of tanned leather, the material is delicate and is prone to minor discoloration. However that is the nature of leather goods. The leather will not remain pristine and sleek, and although scratching will occur, we do not view these marks as defects. It is completely natural, with no synthetic top finishes. The surface will change over time, and exposure to water will create spots. While we recommend avoiding rain, the patina created by daily wear-and-tear is meant to change and evolve over time.

How To Do It?

The variations in color and texture are prized characteristics of tanned vintage leather. Over time, the color may fade due to sunlight, further enhancing its natural color. Given the delicate nature of our products, we recommend careful use of the leather product.

  1. Clean gently. Remove dust and dirt with a soft clean cloth after every use.
  2. Condition the leather. Protect the quality of the leather by moisturising it regularly. Before using the moisturising product, test it on a small area of the leather product. If the leather darkens, reduce the amount used.
  3. Store leather properly. Keep away from direct sunlight and avoid water, oil substances, and dark colored clothing. When leather product is unused, leave a soft clean cloth and store in a cool dry place. Avoid using plastic to cover the bag.
